Medicine Ball training is a fun and proactive way to jump into some ‘non-traditional’ training. It’s cheap, easy and provides the perfect alternative for those looking for some variation in their training routines.

The benefit of training with the medicine ball is that you utilize your body in all planes of movement with just about every exercise. You twist, turn, bend, extend and this causes a huge activation of the core muscles and hips. Many athletes also use medicine balls to develop explosiveness and power. They are a very versatile tool and provide a great workout.

Is weight loss your main goal?  Do you go to the gym and look at the endless rows of machines and wonder, where do I start?  Never wonder again.  Total Body Toning provides the resistance training exercises that work your entire body with interval cardio exercise which will burn calories and help you achieve that lean body your are looking for.  You will perform these exercises in a circuit fashion, working one muscle group then moving to the next muscle group.  Here is how it will lay out.

A1) DB Squats 2 Sets of  20 repetitions
B1) DB Bench Press 2 Sets of 15 repetitions

10 Minute Treadmill Intervals

B1) Seated Row 2 sets of 10
B2) DB Split Squat 2 sets of 20

10 Minute Treadmill Intervals

C1) Smith Machine Pushup 2 sets of 10
C2) Wide Grip Lat Pulldown 2 sets of 20

10 Minute Treadmill Intervals

If you are new to exercise, try this out.  It will help you burn calories and feel better.

In order to burn fat and lose weight to bring out those six pack abs, you will need to crank up your calorie burning potential.  By far the best way to do this is by exercises utilizing full body movements.  Full Body Blast is an efficient and effective way to melt fat and tone your figure.  If you have 30 minutes and access to a gym, get ready to go.  You will workout using the following circuits.

A1) Smith Machine Squat 3 sets of 10-12 repetitions
A2) Lat Pulldown 3 sets of 10-12 repetitions

B1) Smith Machine Incline Press 3 sets of 10-12 repetitions
B2) BB Stiff Leg Deadlift 3 sets of 10-12 repetitions

C1) Smith Machine Split Squat 3 sets of 10-12 repetitions
C2) DB Rows 3 sets of 10-12 repetitions

D1) DB Shoulder Press 3 sets of 10-12 repetitions
D2) Back Extension 3 sets of 10-12 repetitions

You need to rest as little as possible while doing each circuit. After you finish a circuit, rest about 90 seconds.  This will be hard, but it will strip the body fat right off you.  Good luck and train hard.

Not everyone has all day to workout trying to lose weight and look beautiful. Fat loss is all about burning more calories than you eat.  If you can exercise in a manner that makes you burn more energy and fat in all of the hours of the day that you are not working out, you are way ahead of the game.  Raising your metabolism is by far the best way to approach fat loss.   Work harder, rest less and get out of the gym.  Do these circuits and see what efficient and effective exercising is.

A1) DB Squats 3 sets of 10-12 repetitions
A2) Chinups 3 sets of 10-12 repetitions

B1) Incline Barbell Press 3 sets of 10-12 repetitions
B2) Barbell Deadlifts 3 sets of 10-12 repetitions

C1) DB Reverse Lunge 3 sets of 10-12 repetitions
C2) Barbell Bentover Rows 3 sets of 10-12 repetitions

D1) DB Chest Press 3 sets of 10-12 repetitions
D2) Stability Ball Hip Extensions 3 sets of 10-12 repetitions

Bikini Boot Camp

With summer fast approaching it’s time now to start creating a bikini ready body. Here’s a great workout to get you started! Because as you know jiggly arms and saggy butts are out this summer so jump into the Bikini Boot Camp and start sculpting a sexy body that will turn heads.

With this workout you will complete a set of the (a) exercise, then immediately complete a set of the (b) exercise. Rest one minute then repeat for a second set. Basically you are super-setting two exercises.

1a – Barbell Straight Leg Deadlifts 	2 sets x 8 – 10 repetitions
1b – Medicine Ball Push-ups 		2 sets x 8 – 10 repetitions

2a – Barbell Side Lunges 		2 sets x 8 – 10 repetitions
2b – Inverted Rows 			2 sets x 8 -10 repetitions

3a – Bench Step-ups 			2 sets x 15 – 20 repetitions
3b – Bench Dips 			2 sets x 12 -15 repetitions

4a – Medicine Ball Twists 		2 sets x 20 – 30 repetitions
4b – Medicine ball Crunches 		2 sets x 20 – 30 repetitions
